Custody

What are custody issues?

Custody involves two primary issues: decision making (legal custody) and parenting time (physical custody). Typically, custody issues also involve establishing or modifying child support. Custody can be determined either through a divorce process or in a separate process called Allocation of Parental Responsibilities. Decision making, parenting time, and child support are all determined based on the best interest of the child and can be modified accordingly.
