Brad Cummings

Executive Director


Brad Cummings is a founder, Executive Director, and Chairman of the Board for the Rocky Mountain Veterans Advocacy Project (RMVAP). Prior to founding the RMVAP, Brad served as a Clinical Fellow with the Veterans Advocacy Project at the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law, and continues as an adjunct professor for the Military and Veterans Law Practicum. While attending law school, he earned his J.D. and an LLM in International Business Transactions, as well as dual master’s degrees in Resource Law Studies and Environmental Law and Policy. Brad is also a military veteran, having spent 13 years in the United States Air Force, most recently as a Special Agent with the Office of Special Investigations (OSI). Brad earned a B.A. in Philosophy from American Military University in 2010, between deployments in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Having filed multiple claims on his own behalf before the Department of Veterans Affairs, as well as for other veterans, he is intimately familiar with the claims process.
