Stephanie Faurote
Director of Defense Litigation
Stephanie Faurote is the Director of Defense Litigation at the Rocky Mountain Veterans Advocacy Project (RMVAP). Prior to joining RMVAP, Stephanie served Adams and Broomfield Counties as a Deputy District Attorney. In that role, Stephanie was assigned both misdemeanor and felony level criminal cases and completed over thirty jury trials. While in law school, Stephanie served as a student attorney with the Veterans Advocacy Project at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. Stephanie was a member of the Sturm College of Law National Trial Team. Stephanie also had the opportunity to attend Advanced Academy of the Advocate in Scotland through Baylor University. Stephanie looks forward to using her experiences to provide excellent defense litigation services to veterans.
Prior to law school, Stephanie worked in a variety of professional roles: detention officer, retail manager and financial advisor, to name a few. Stephanie spent four years living abroad in India with her husband and sons. Stephanie’s family has a long history of military service, including
her sister currently serving in the United States Navy, and her brother that served in the United States Marine Corps. All these life experiences have given Stephanie a strong desire to help others, especially those that serve our country and protect our freedoms.
